The client wanted to give unparalleled visibility to their enterprise users to guage On time vehicle pick-up arrival performance, Warehouse loading performance, Delivery Order & Gate-out performance, In-transit performance & Destination arrival performance. Shipment events are recorded in real time via our proprietary geofencing event record technology. The system currently tracks over 300,000 Tons of cargo per month.

The client had received feedback from customers to offer greater operational visibility along with their trucking services

Challenge
Since the client was operating a brokerage model, we had to integrate multiple IoT feeds from multiple vendors into the platform without compromising on the speed and accuracy of the data.

Solution
Our team managed and reduced the size of payloads, used API caching and asynchronous requests to allow for the ingestion of multiple IoT feeds without compromising on accuracy or speed.

Outcome
The client was able to spin off this platform as a separate SaaS revenue stream and significantly diversify their offering to their customers.
